Even France has pornography, which is hard to believe since the entire culture seems pornographic from the view on this side of the ocean. But believe it or not there is an adult industry, where those struggling sex stars must have to try very hard to top what their mainstream rivals do regularly onscreen. Whether on top or the bottom, Estelle Desanges tops them all. Born among the famed vineyards of Bordeaux, France, Estelle was a bartender before she got discovered at a party for Hot Video, France’s trade magazine all about the adult film world. An overnight success, after making her debut in Multi Angle Sex (2000), Estelle received a Hot d’Or prize for Best European Starlet the very same year. Estelle landed in some softer stuff too, including the erotic thriller about a therapist who wakes up next to the dead body of his sex addicted client, Mortel transfert (2000). There we get to watch as Estelle rides on some man, her ass bouncing up and down in full view of a little boy who wandered into her bedroom. Now that’s a childhood memory! Then Estelle said les-be-friendly to another beautiful woman in Marie ou La fascination charnelle (2002), a made-for-TV movie that opens with a Sapphic coupling between Estelle and Linda Paris. And, yes, Paris is burning! Estelle left the hardcore world in 2003, although she did do some skinny dipping in a few episodes of Les tropiques de l’amour, a softcore show about two vacationing women screwing their way across France. On top of advocating for a law that French porn stars need to wear rubbers, Estelle has been doing some singing. Always willing to show, as if you couldn’t tell, few Frenchies are hotter than Estelle Desanges.
